Fred was the son of James Hibbs and Hannah Marmon. He married Minnie Baird on 05 Sep 1906 in Lohrville, Calhoun, Iowa. They were the parents of Wayne and Ruth. After her death he married Vera Farrell on Aug 23, 1924 at Carroll, IA. They were the parents of Juanita. After her death he married Marie Denkinger on June 25, 1939.
