Bryce is the son of John C. Quint and Abigail Bickford. Bryce married Mary D. Dunham on 19 AUG 1861 in St. Joseph, Berrien, Michigan. They were the parents of Alfonzo, Lilly M, and Violet U. Bryce married 2nd Lydia Pennell Boyce on 6 Apr. 1873 in Berrien county, Michigan. The family moved to Carroll, Iowa in 1876.
