Orange Palmer Harris, son of Jason Harris and Betsey Gurler, was born Mar. 23, 1831 in Nelson Twp., Cheshire Co., New Hampshire and died Feb. 10, 1892 in Marshall Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa. New Hampshire, Births and Christenings gives his birth date as Mar. 23, 1829. He married 1) Elizabeth Foster in 1851 in Cheshire Co., New Hampshire; 2) Margaret Laird July 6, 1869 in Taylor Co., Iowa and 3) Victoria Ann Starkey July 3,1876 in Taylor Co., Iowa.
