Permelia Criss Mathews, daughter of Joseph Mathews and Elizabeth Criss, was born Feb. 2, 1824 in Preston Co., Virginia (now West Virginia) and died Jan. 14, 1895 in Plainview, Pierce Co., Nebraska. She married Nathan Parnik Hall Oct. 28, 1841.
