Melissa L. Beaber, daughter of Jacob and Rachel Beaber, was born Sept. 5, 1853 in Henry Co., Iowa and died Feb. 21, 1936 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri. Missouri State Death Certificate gives her birth date as Dec. 20, 1853. Her obituary gives the date above. She married Benjamin Franklin Ginn July 28, 1874 near Mt. Pleasant, Henry Co., Iowa.
