John W. Coppel or Copple, son of John and Nancy Coppel, was born Feb. 15, 1821 in Adams Co., Ohio and died June 27, 1881 near Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Hester Ann Taylor April 6, 1846 in Adams Co., Ohio. See separate entry under his name for a photo of the family plot.
