William R. Coppel, son of John W. Coppel and Hester Ann Taylor, was born May 22, 1849 in Brown Co., Ohio and died Mar. 29, 1920 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Louisa Bentley Feb. 15, 1871 at Eureka, Woodford Co., Illinois. She was born May 4, 1850 in Brown Co., Ohio, daughter of Michael Bentley and Cynthia High, and died Feb. 15, 1941 at Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
