Christena E. Douglas, daughter of David Douglas and Mary Jane Main, was born Feb. 8, 1856 in Iowa and died Sept. 9, 1878 near Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Cylvester Allen Strange Dec. 3, 1874 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
