Cathrine was the daughter of Robert and Mary Ramsey. She married John Joseph Graves on December 6, 1871, at Glen Haven, Wisconsin. They were the parents of 7 children: Eugene Robert, Cora Mae, Ethel Inez, John Alvin, Sadie K, Earl Gerden, and Harrison Morton.
