Russel Hobart Gant, son of Charles Newton Gant and Florence Idell Goodrich, was born April 7, 1905 near Siam, Taylor Co., Iowa and died May 24, 1936 at St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri. He married Audra Fern Smith April 3, 1929 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. She was born May 9, 1909 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa, daughter of James C. Smith and Rosa Nell Darnold, and died April 23, 1992 in Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. She married 1) Russel Hobart Gant; 2) Merle McComb Feb. 15, 1942; 3) Clifford Wesley Davison Jan. 28, 1965.
