Charles B. Parmenter, son of Orland Parmenter and Pheba Arletta Cannon, was born Oct. 17, 1895 in Taylor Co., Iowa, and died July 11, 1977 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married 1) Emma Mellinger Nov. 28, 1917 at Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri and 2) Eva Mae Batson, Sept. 12, 1939 at Rockport, Atchison Co., Missouri. She was born Dec. 24, 1921 at Darlington, Gentry Co., Missouri, daughter of Claudie Batson and Oma Davis, and died Feb. 2, 1994 in Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska.
