Harlan Montgomery, son of George Montgomery and Nancy Sturman, was born July 6, 1843 near Danville, Hendricks Co., Indiana and died Aug. 14, 1937 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married 1) Mary Turner, Feb. 4, 1866, Hendricks Co. Indiana and 2) Anna Haller, June 28, 1888, Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and 3) Elvira Loraine "Ella" Starling May 16, 1905. Mary Turner, daughter of James Turner and Anna Cavett, was born in 1847 in Hendricks Co., Indiana and died Feb. 28, 1886 in Clayton Twp., northeast of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
