Elizabeth "Eliza" Herriott, daughter of David Herriott and Amelia Rutherford, was born in 1804 in New Jersey (1880 federal census gives birth place as New Jersey and 1885 state census as Pennsylvania) and died Feb. 22, 1888 in Taylor Co., Iowa. She married David Herriott Oct. 10, 1826 in Alleghany Co., Pennsylvania. Her daughter Mary was born April 30, 1837 in Alleghany Co., Pennsylvania and died Jan. 21, 1881 in Taylor Co., Iowa. Hannah was born Nov. 8, 1841 in Alleghany Co., Pennsylvania and died Sept. 10, 1889 in Taylor Co., Iowa.
