Mary Ann McCoy, daughter of William McCoy and Nancy Bradshaw, was born Dec. 24, 1817 in what is now Cabell Co., West Virginia and died Jan. 22, 1892 in Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Marshall Jared Jan. 12, 1839 in Edgar Co. Illinois.
