Alva Edward Davis, son of Francis M. Davis and Annie Zeka, was born Jan. 13, 1905 in Cherokee, Cherokee Co., Iowa and died Aug.2, 1986 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. He married Viola Dolly Lucas Oct. 6, 1933 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born Jan. 7, 1905 at Hopeville, Clarke Co., Iowa, daughter of George Clinton Lucas and Esther Jane Vanatta, and died Sept. 20,1988 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa.
