Marion Luther Burk, son of Benjamin Burk and Susan Ellen Oxley, was born Sept. 14, 1879 in Gentry Co., Missouri and died Feb. 23, 1931 near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Ida Linnea Swanson Jan. 23, 1901 in Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born Jan. 26, 1880 in Galesburg, Knox Co., Illinois, daughter of Swan Swanson and Amanda Ross, and died July 16, 1972 at Red Oak, Montgomery Co., Iowa.
