Amy Gertrude Hays, daughter of Thomas and Martha Hays, was born Sept. 19, 1888 at New Market, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Aug. 26, 1961 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Walter Thomas Hardee Dec. 11, 1907 at New Market, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born May 9, 1890 at New Market, Taylor Co., Iowa, son of Joseph William Hardee and Nancy Lacock, and died April 4, 1956 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa.
