Gladys Irene Holmes, daughter of Loren Holmes and Josephine Trager, was born July 19, 1906 and died Mar. 20, 1992 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Paul Edwin Chitty, Sr. Nov. 4, 1925 at Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa. He was born Sept. 7, 1903 at Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa, son of William Chitty and Sarah Rascher, and died Nov. 22, 1990 at Sharpsburg, Taylor Co., Iowa.
