Selindia L. Bailey Colburn Irland Andridge

Celinda Lydia Bailey was born in Potten, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Abijah Bailey and his first wife, Lydia Hildreth. The family lived around the Greensboro and Craftsbury villages of Vermont. Celinda went to work in the mills at Lowell, Massachusetts, where she met and married her first husband, Charles Emerson Colburn II, 11 Jul 1853, in Lowell. He was born 13 May 1826 in Wilton, Franklin, Maine, and died 14 Nov 1859 in Hopkinton, Delaware, Iowa. They came west to Iowa where Charles worked for a "Wells Fargo" type company as a dreyman. After his death Celinda married 2nd, William Irland, on 15 Jul 1861 in Jamestown, Grant, Wisconsin. He was born about 1818 in New York and died 4 Sep 1866, in Hopkinton, Iowa. With her six children, three from Mr. Colburn, and three from Mr. Irland, she came to Buena Vista County, Iowa, by wagon. She married 3rd) as his second wife, Rev. John J. Andridge, 13 Apr 1884 in Lincoln Twp, Buena Vista County, Iowa. He was born about 1806 in Canada and died 8 Sep 1889 in Lincoln Twp, Buena Vista, Iowa. She died in Lincoln Twp, Buena Vista, Iowa.
