Sarah was the daughter of Serlina and Ebenezer Rollins. In 1880 she moved to Keokuk, IA where she met and married Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Kent in 1884. In 1916 she came to Humboldt to make her home with her brother, the late S.K. Rollins, who died 11 years ago to the day and hour of Mrs. Kent's death.
