George was the son of Archibald Fairburn and Janet Nisbet Aitchison. He married Susan Olive Hamilton on 7 DEC 1871 in Cascade, Iowa. They were the parents of George, Edward, Frank, and Ellen.
Note: George was elected Inspector General of the Freemasons that he served his whole life. He came to American with his parents when he was 10 years old. KDJ
