Lydia Maxfield, daughter of Albert Fletcher Maxfield and Esther Cook, was born May 29, 1851 in De Kalb Co., Illinois and died Dec. 3, 1926 at St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri. Source of birth and death date: Missouri State Death Certificate. She married James Daniel Agler Dec. 6, 1867 in Taylor Co., Iowa. Burial took place in the Bedford Cemetery Dec. 6, 1926. Source of marriage date: Marriage records, Taylor County Courthouse, Bedford, Iowa. His obituary gives the marriage date as Dec. 8, 1967.
