Floyd Erosco Watkins, son of James Eslie Watkins and Anna Malinda Shepherd,was born Feb. 14, 1890 at Clearfield, Taylor Co., Iowa and died April 21, 1957 at Fairfax, Atchison Co., Missouri. He married Mary Laughlin Dec. 8, 1915 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born April 7, 1897 in Nodaway Co., Missouri, daughter of Roger Edwin Laughlin and Cora Belle Ingels, and died Mar. 30, 1967. Their son, Arthur Dennis, was born Jan. 15, 1917 in Taylor Co., Iowa and died Mar. 11, 1917 in Gay Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa. Arthur's death notice available Taylor County, Iowa gen web site.
