John B. Owens, son of Archibald Owens and Christina Beer or Bear, was born in 1832 in Ashland Co., Ohio and died Mar. 2, 1890 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Electa Golding Sept. 18, 1881 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
