Christina Ethlyn Athon, daughter of George Barton Athon and Maude Leora Clark, was born July 22, 1909 at Tarkio, Atchison Co., Missouri and died Jan. 22, 1994 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married 1) Walter Shockley, Dec. 29, 1928 at Tarkio, Atchison Co., Missouri and 2) James Maxon Lambert Mar. 17, 1939 at Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri and 3) George Garfield Griffin Mar. 5, 1946 at Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri. He was born Dec. 14, 1913 at Coin, Page Co., Iowa, son of Levi and Nettie June Griffin, and died Sept. 18, 1983 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. Obituaries available Taylor County, Iowa gen web site.
