Rhoda Nott Knauss
Mrs. David Knauss)
a/k/a
Rhoda Nott Bramer
(Mrs. Henry Bramer (a/k/a Heio Euken Bramer)
March 30, 1856 - Feb. 18, 1942
SDiv.1-006
Note:
Rhoda was first married to David Knauss. Two of their three children (Jessie and Jackson) accidently drowned in 1892 and were buried in the nearby Old Fairfield City cemetery. When David Knauss died in 1900, he was buried near them as well.
Rhoda remarried in 1905 to "Henry Bramer", whose original given name was evidently Heio Euken Bramer. He was born in 1874 and died suddenly in 1948 and was buried in the Minonk Township Cemetery, Minonk, Woodford county, Illinois (his birth family was of that area).
Rhoda and David Knauss had a third child, Harry A Knauss (1888-1963), and Rhoda is buried in that plot with son Harry A Knauss, his wife Laura Arizona Edler Knauss, and members of their family.
