Albert David Nye, son of William and Louisa Nye, was born Mar. 1, 1869 at Chester, Howard Co., Iowa and died Jan. 14, 1940 south of Mount Ayr, Ringgold Co., Iowa. He married 1) Annetta Scott Mar. 19, 1893 and 2) Jesse Brown, Feb. 20, 1929. Annetta Scott was born Sept. 13, 1873 in Rooks Co., Kansas, daughter of James Scott and Lydia Jane Cronk, and died Nov. 16, 1927 in Benton Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa.
