Ida Fern Standley, daughter of Joseph Perry Standley and Dora Wakefield, was born Oct. 6, 1895 in Platteville, Jefferson Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa and died April 28, 1989 at Pella,Marion Co., Iowa. Her obituary and Iowa Marriages, 1809-1992 give her birth date as 1896. She married Truman Straight Aug. 11, 1915 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born Jan. 31, 1893 in Jackson Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa, son of William Curtis Straight and Ida May Stoner, and died Jan. 4, 1954 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa.
