William Cornelius McGinness, son of Abinah Wood McGinness and Susannah McClanahan, was born Dec. 14, 1858 near New Market, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Jan. 31, 1918 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Malissa Endsley Dec. 23, 1877 in Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri.
