Sarah Thompson, daughter of Tolbert or Tabbott Thompson and Elizabeth Thomas, was born June 3, 1797 near Scottsville, Allen Co., Kentucky and died Feb 14, 1882 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married James Rigsby Oct. 27, 1816 in Kentucky. Death Records, Taylor County Courthouse, Bedford, Iowa give the death date as Feb. 15, 1882.
