A. C. Barnes, son of Charles Augustus Barnes and Ola Mae Webster, was born Jan. 13, 1912 near Athelstan, Taylor Co., Iowa and died No. 4, 1986 in Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. He was a twin of R. C. Barnes. He married 1) Elsie Mae Byrn Dukes June 27, 1935 at Albany, Gentry Co., Missouri. Source of date and place: Missouri Marriages. Her obituary gives the marriage date as Feb. 27, 1935. and 2) Blanche Madge Walton Dec. 22, 1952. Elise Mae Byrn, daughter of Thomas Franklin Byrn and Emily Jane Foster, was born Sept. 1, 1900 near Sheridan, Worth Co., Missouri and died Mar. 11, 1949 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. She married Leslie Ralph Dukes May 3, 1919 at Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri. Blanche Madge Walton, daughter of David Charles Walton and Vera Olga Crist, was born Dec. 14, 1927 near Orient, Adair Co., Iowa and died April 5, 1995 in Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa.
