IDA M. HOBART

Birth: Mar. 25, 1871, Andalusia, Rock Island County,Illinois, USA. Death: Jun. 19, 1954, Davenport, Scott County, Iowa, USA.

Ida Mae Hobart was the daughter of Gilmore Hobart and Sarah Jane Hesser. She was married several times. She and Theodore "T.S." Bear had a daughter, my great grandmother, Viola Edith Bear. She also had three daughters with a husband named James Edgington.

Records of her children are as follows:

Viola Edith Bear 08 Aug 1905 to Oct 1979. Viola married Robert Charles Mohr. They had one child,my grandmother, Nellie Janette Mohr. Viola later married John Brammann. They divorced long before her death.

Clara Jean Edgington 20 Sep 1891 to 1958. Clara married Alfred Frederick Norgordt. They had two children, Russell Leroy Norgordt and Deloris A. Norgordt.

Ella M Edgington 20 Sep 1893 to 1965. Ella married once, but I have no record of any children.

Rose Nell Edgington 01 Nov 1895 to 17 Feb 1948. Rose was known as "Nellie". She married August Schadel Jr. I have no record of any children.

Ida May Hobart is buried next to her daughters Ella and Jean in the Fairmont Mausoleum.

*Note in my research, I've found that Hobart and Hobert were used interchangeably. I'm not 100% of the legal spelling of Ida's name.
