Harry LaVerne Stafford, son of Henry Stafford and Amanda Edmonds, was born Aug. 3, 1899 near Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa and died Nov. 22, 1984 in Mount Ayr, Ringgold Co., Iowa. He married 1) Flossie Faye Schenck Oct. 24, 1917 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and 2) Bertha Mae Fleming May 31, 1921 at Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. She was born June 25, 1902 in Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of Levi Archie Fleming and Elizabeth Ann Nixon, and died April 27, 2003 in Mount Ayr, Ringgold Co., Iowa.
