Solomon Anton Swanson was born Oct. 10, 1878 in Sweden and died Jan. 24, 1970 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Florence May Pierson in 1923. She was born April 24, 1879 near Essex, Page Co., Iowa, daughter of William Per Pierson and Fannie Elnora Galigher, and died Feb. 14, 1970 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa.
