Philip Henry Liston, son of Henry Godfrey Liston and Lucinda Graves, was born Mar. 12, 1883 near Birmingham, Jefferson Co., Alabama and died May 16, 1955 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married 1) Minerva Scott July 7, 1903 in Carter Co., Oklahoma and 2) Lillian May Sexton May 4, 1909 in New Mexico. She was born Aug. 4, 1878 in Mercer Co., Missouri, daughter of Isaac Free Sexton and Elizabeth Sparks, and died Feb. 24, 1943 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
