Davis James Foster, son of James R. Foster and Selena Davis, was born May 13, 1892 in Atlantic, Cass Co., Iowa and died Dec. 2, 1943 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He married Grace Mae Konecne Mar. 19, 1927 at Bedford,Taylor Co., Iowa. His obituary gives the death date as Dec. 3, 1943.
