Verdia Ruth Sanders, daughter of John Sanders, was born in 1891 in Villisca, Montgomery Co., Iowa and died Mar. 30, 1970 in Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington. She married Roy Harrison Egleston April 13, 1909 in Adams Co., Iowa. He was born May 3, 1888 near Carbon, Adams Co., Iowa, son of Benjamin H. Egleston and Ida Mary Cole, and died May 12, 1958 west of Sharpsburg, Taylor Co., Iowa.
