Willis Bovel Downey, son of William Sidney Downey and Martha Jane Earley, was born May 6, 1900 in Chuckey, Greene Co., Tennessee and died July 6, 1975 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. He married Beulah Jane Sexton Sept. 12, 1923 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. She was born Nov. 4, 1904 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of Nathan Isaac Sexton and Elsie Mae Laird, and died April 3, 1988 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa.
