William Helms Nevius, son of David Nevius and Elizabeth Grimes, was born Aug. 11, 1834 in Fulton Co., Illinois and died Dec. 2, 1912 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married 1) Eliza Ann Moss Feb. 24, 1852; 2) Rosetta Searl Oct. 5, 1862 in Bureau Co., Illinois and 3) Harriet Ellen Torrance Wheeler Jan. 7, 1909.
