Laura Alice Workman, daughter of George W. Workman and Mary Ann Lane, was born April 10, 1874 in Mountain Grove, Wright Co., Missouri and died Oct. 29, 1856 in Wright Co., Missouri. She married John William Stephens Sept. 21, 1891 at Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was born Jan. 17, 1871 near Keosauqua, Van Buren Co., Iowa, son of George P. Stephens and Susan Ann Simons, and died Mar. 22, 1936 near Hepburn, Page Co., Iowa.
