Carrie Lavina French, daughter of John French and Sarah Clymer, was born Sept. 13, 1878 near Prairie City, Jasper Co., Iowa and died Jan. 26, 1956 in Lenox, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Edgar Loxley Pinney Feb. 9, 1898 in Taylor Co., Iowa.
