Caroline Gibson Singleton, daughter of John Thomas Singleton and Mary Jane Thistle, was born Aug. 29, 1849 in Kentucky and died Nov. 5, 1938 in Sharpsburg, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married George Barnard Pinney June 14, 1871 at Iowa City, Johnson Co., Iowa.
