Abednego Stephens Davis, son of Abraham Abednego Davis and Sarah Rush, was born Dec. 25, 1822 in Maryland and died Oct. 22, 1915 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Almena Barnes June 1843 in Ohio. She was born Jan. 23, 1818 in Pennsylvania and died Mar. 20, 1904 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
