John Milton French, son of George French, was born Mar. 5, 1846 in Jasper Co., Indiana and died Dec. 16, 1909 in Sharpsburg, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Sarah Elizabeth Clymer in 1873. Source of birth and death dates: Iowa, Select Deaths and Burials. Obituary gives birth date as 1856 and was printed in Bedford Times-Republican and Bedford Free Press, Dec. 23, 1909.
