John P. Taylor, son of John I. Taylor and Lydia A. Pike, was born Oct. 7, 1844 in Ohio and died Sept. 11, 1910 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Saran Ann Bentley Feb. 15, 1871.
