Joseph Hooker Reid, son of John Henry Reid and Sarah Ann Replogle, was born May 11,1863 in Muscatine Co., Iowa and died Sept. 26, 1951 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married 1) Barbara Nevins Sept. 15, 1886 in Page Co., Iowa and 2) Abbie Mariam Gartrell Oct. 7, 1907 at Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri.
