Eli Luark Bowers, son of Solomon Bowers and Anna Luark, was born Jan. 16, 1855 near Mount Morris, Greene Co., Pennsylvania and died Aug. 11, 1941 near Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Sarah Adeline Russell Feb. 25, 1877 in Greene Co., Pennsylvania.
