Fredrick L. DeHarppert was born in Nov. 1860 in Pennsylvania and died July 26, 1937. He married Mary Malinda Brockart or Brockert Jan. 25, 1888 in Louisa Co., Iowa. She was born Dec. 24,1862 in Iowa, daughter of Andrew John Brockert and Elizabeth Jane Miller, and died Nov. 5, 1918 in Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. There are various spellings of the last name, including DeHarppart, De Harper, and DeHarpert.
