Anna Mary McConnell was born in April 1855 in Washington Co., Pennsylvania and died Jan. 4, 1947 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa. She married Thomas Gourley Stewart Nov. 3, 1875 in Washington Co., Pennsylvania. Death date on stone may be an error. Her death notice appeared in the Bedford Times-Press, Thursday, Jan. 9, 1947 stating that she had died the previous Saturday (Jan. 4, 1947).
