John Edgar Allen Jr., son of John Edgar Allen and Margaret M.Brizley, was born May 1, 1888 in Illinois and died in 1931. He married Gladys Louise Chitty June 26, 1913 in Cook Co., Illinois. She was born April 17, 1893 in Iowa, daughter of Joseph Columbus Chitty and Ida Million, and died Nov. 26, 1992 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa.
